Being born on Halloween, Emily’s love for creepy, weird, and strange picture books started off strong. She received her Master’s in Philosophy from the University of Connecticut and her Bachelor's in Philosophy and German from the University of New Mexico. Raised in a small desert town in southern New Mexico, she spent the last 10 years in different cities across New England before her family settled down in Boca Raton, Florida. Emily is bilingual in English and German, used to know Russian and Spanish, and dabbles in many other languages.
Emily is currently seeking representation as an author/illustrator and welcomes inquiries about other creative projects as well.
